Poetry Reading: Three Poets Plus Open Mic

Founded by the American Academy of Poets, April is National Poetry Month. One of the main goals of this celebration is to increase the visibility of the poetic form. To help celebrate, the Library will be sponsoring three noted regional poets, Kate Lamberg, Paul Lojeski and Jody Mitchell who will be reading from their poetry. This will be followed by a poetry open mic program. Whether experimenting for the first time with poetry or perfecting a long developed piece, you are invited to participate. There is NO AGE LIMIT and each person will be given up to 10 minutes to read. For open mic times please contact the Reference Desk. Light refreshments will be served.
