Port Jeff Man Honors Lost Dad, Uncle in Pancreatic Cancer Walk.

In less than a year's time, Michael Malinowski lost his dad and uncle to the pancreatic cancer.

In less than a year’s time, Michael Malinowski lost his dad and uncle to the most lethal of all cancers; pancreatic and on Sunday he will join thousands of others as he honor them by participating in the Lustgarten Foundation’s 13th annual walk on Sunday.

Malinowski, of Port Jefferson, believes that participating in the walk is a moving and inspirational way to honor his father and uncle’s memory. The married, father of two knows the disease can be hereditary and support the walk to help fund research.

“I have raised nearly $3,000 so far and I feel great knowing every single dollar goes right to research. I will be walking with a small group of family and friends.”
