New Strength for Life classes to begin at Mather Hospital

Strength for Life will be starting the next session of classes at Mather Hospital on Wednesday evening, February 5 at 6:30 pm. The 8 week session is open to all cancer patients to encourage them to add exercise to their treatment regimen and post treatment lifestyle.

The class utilizes resistance bands, stability balls and floor work to give a full-body workout...however all exercises can be adapted to meet the individual's ability. The class is led by a certified cancer-exercise fitness specialist, and is free of charge for the cancer patient/survivor.

Strength for Life asks that you  register for classes either through the website strengthforlifeNY,org  or email at strengthforlife@optonline.net.  Any questions/concerns can be addressed by calling 631-675-6513

Medical clearance is necessary.

In addition, we are celebrating our 11th wellness retreat on February 8-9 at the Hyatt Windwatch.  Information regarding future retreats can be found on our website www.strengthforlifeNY.org.
