What is your 'summer' signal this year? Has summer already arrived for you? With a nearly snow-free winter and an equally disturbing hot April, we can't exactly rely on the calendar. Is it something internal? Something external, like the rumbling of motorcycles, or peonies in bloom? What sign has crept its way into your relm?
For the second morning in a row I got out of bed and found our down comforter had been kicked to the floor overnight. Somehow my husband and I had coordinated our somniferous tosses to rid ourselves of the too-heavy bedcover. This is my signal to launder the blanket and store it away for the season. It is how I begin to season my home...until winter, whenever that is!
