Blood Drive at the Comsewogue Public Library

Comsewogue Public Library will be hosting a blood drive on December 27th.

The Comsewogue Public Library is hosting a blood drive on Thursday, December 27th, from 1pm to 8 pm. The Library is located at 170 Terryville Road, Port Jefferson Station.

A donation will save up to three lives. All donors will receive a fleece scarf and a pair of gloves as a thank you gift.

Donors must bring a form of identification with a signature or a photo. They must be in good health, weigh at least 110 pounds and be between the ages of 16 and 75; 16 year olds must have parental permission and those 76 and older must have a note from a doctor. Donors also must eat well (low fat) and drink lots of  fluids that day. Anyone who has gotten a tatoo in the past 12 months is ineligible. For questions about eligibility, call (800) 688-0900,
