Four More Pups from Afghanistan are in the Building

An update on the dogs from Afghanistan who are boarding at Hounds Town - Port Jeff.

Despite the ghastly weather this morning, four more doggies from Afghanistan are in the building! Tommy, Tony, Sonny and P-Nut made it safely to the U.S.

Tommy, Tony and Sonny are puppies and boy do they act like it! They’re running, jumping and being goofy like any other pup you’d meet. They will be a year old in August.

P-Nut is far more reserved. As of right now, her story has been labeled classified so details of her upbringing are sketchy. What we do know, however, is she has been the subject of severe abuse. She’s very fearful and cautious but I can see little glimmers of a very loving dog in her eyes. She just needs some time.

Four more are due in tomorrow and then the real work begins. We have to get all these guys fattened up, socialized and ready to be adopted! Potential adopters can be from anywhere in the US, with preference being given to military families.
