Nominate Port Jefferson's Greatest Person of 2012

Who has made the biggest impact on the community?

Maybe it's a parent, a teacher, a scout leader, a coach. Maybe it's an elected official, a civic association leader, a school board trustee, a village mayor, or other community leader.

In a community such as this there are undoubtedly plenty of people across town to look up to, and we'd like to recognize those people by asking you to nominate them for our "Greatest Person" honor.

Last year, Comsewogue student Kerry MacKinnon beat out five other nominees to capture our Person of Year for 2011. MacKinnon ran to get an automated external defibrillator when her friend Hope Reindl collapsed in the school gym, helping coaches and teachers to save her life.
