Edna Louise Spear Elementary School students in grades K-5 had the opportunity to participate in the Thanksgiving Day Creative Celebration sponsored by the New York State Senate. This year’s theme, “What Are You Thankful For?” is depicted in their original essays, poetry and artwork, which will be included in the state’s Thanksgiving Day Showcase. Additionally, all submissions will be published online and students will receive a certificate from Sen. Kenneth LaValle acknowledging their participation.
