On Jan. 30, Port Jefferson Middle School string players Elizabeth Chun, Hyun Jin Lee, Joseph Samara, Mayu Takeuchi and Annalisa Welinder kicked off Stony Brook University's women's basketball game with a classical rendition of the national anthem. Port Jefferson music teachers Christian Neubert and Dr. Vanessa Salzman and Director of Music and Fine Arts Michael Caravello were also in attendance.
