Arrests Made For Obstructing Traffic, Burglary and Possession of Cocaine

A blotter of the latest arrests and incidents in Port Jefferson

Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct reported these incidental arrests in Port Jefferson and Port Jefferson Station during Jan. 23—Feb. 3: 

Sixto Dilone, 20, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested Jan. 28 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with second degree burglary. Reports state Dilone entered through an unlocked door of a residence and stole property.   

Matthew Tomasso, 40, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested Jan. 28 in Selden and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Reports state at approximately 10:05 p.m. Tomasso was allegedly in possession of cocaine.

David Torres, 18, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested Jan. 26 in Selden and charged with assault. Reports state Torres punched someone repeatedly. 

David Williams, 42, of Port Jefferson was arrested Jan. 25 in Port Jefferson and charged with obstructing traffic.  Reports state Williams was observed consuming alcohol in the middle of Main St. in Port Jefferson Station at approximately 12:45 p.m. Reports also state Williams was allegedly causing traffic.

None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed above. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  If any of the above charges have been acquitted, in order for removal from publication, one must write the writer and provide proof of dismissal.
