Cops Seek Info on Barbershop Burglary

Police said a man broke into Highway Barbershop in Terryville in July and stole cash.

Suffolk County Police are asking for the public's help while investigating a burglary that took place a few weeks ago at Highway Barbershop in Terryville on Route 347.

According to police, a man broke three windows at the barbershop between 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 8 and 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9. Authorities said he took off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the business, located at 4577 Nesconset Highway.

Anyone with info on the incident is asked to call Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS, and information that leads to an arrest could offer a cash reward of up to $5,000.
