Cops Seek Trader Joe's Purse Snatcher
Police say a woman who stole a purse at Trader Joe's in Lake Grove used the stolen credit card to make a purchase at Walmart in Centereach.
Suffolk County police are asking the public for help in finding a woman who they said used a stolen credit card at the Walmart in Centereach.
According to police, a woman’s purse was stolen on Sept. 17 while she was shopping at Trader Joe’s in Lake Grove. She later discovered that one of her credit cards was used that day at the Walmart on Middle Country Road.
Police are asking anyone with information to call anonymously to 1-800-220-TIPS. According to police a cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
