Crime Report: Burglary Charge, Petit Larceny Charges, and Narcotics Arrest

A blotter of the latest arrests and incidents in Port Jefferson

Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct reported these incidental arrests in Port Jefferson and Port Jefferson Station during Feb. 16-21: 

Phillip Forte, 23, of Rocky Point was arrested Feb. 21 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with second degree burglary. Reports state Forte allegedly burglarized a home and removed property from a home on Broadway in Rocky Point. 

Ari Alexenburg, 31, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested Feb. 19 in Mount Sinai and charged with reporting a false incident. Reports state Alexenburg allegedly called 911 and gave the dispatcher false information.

Frank Lofria, 50, of Port Jefferson Station was given a summons on Feb. 18 in Port Jefferson Station for petit larceny. Reports state Lofria allegedly removed razor blades from the Ride Aid in Port Jefferson Station without paying.

Stanley Diaz, 20, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested Feb. 18 in Selden and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, loitering, and unlawful use of a controlled substance. Reports state Diaz parked his 1995 Honda Civic in a parking lot and possessed a quantity of a controlled substance.

Kwasaan Brito, 23, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested Feb. 17 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with loitering, and unlawful use of a controlled substance. Reports state Brito was sitting in his 1995 Honda Civic and allegedly had possession of a controlled substance. 

Alicia Febo, 20, of Rocky Point was arrested Feb. 17 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with second degree burglary. Reports state Febo allegedly burglarized a home located on Broadway in Rocky Point.    

Thomas Dantonio, 29, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested Feb. 17 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and resisting arrest. Reports state Dantonio allegedly possessed alprazolam in his 1990 Honda.    

Gregory Garabedian, 20, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested Feb. 17 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Reports state Garabedian allegedly possessed alprazolam in a 1995 Honda Civic.    

Kenia Cepedanunez, 18, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested Feb. 17 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with loitering, and unlawful use of a controlled substance. Reports state Cepedanunez allegedly possessed alprazolam in a 1995 Honda.    

Edison Cabrera, 27, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested Feb. 16 in Terryville and charged with reckless driving. Reports state police stopped Cabrera for alleged excessive speeding and reckless driving on Dane Rd., and Old Town Rd., in Terryville.

Eduardo Nunez, 19, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested Feb. 16 in Terryville and charged with fifth degree criminal possession of marijuana. Reports state Nunez was arrested on the corner of Continental Dr., and Dare Rd., Terryville after possessing marijuana in his 2008 Nissan.    

Rick Smith, 46, of Port Jefferson was arrested Feb. 16 in Port Jefferson and charged with third degree narcotics. Reports state Smith was arrested on Main St., Port Jefferson.

Desiree Mike, 25, of Port Jefferson was arrested Feb. 16 in Port Jefferson and charged with third degree narcotics. Reports state Mike was allegedly found by police in possession of heroin and cocaine on Pinegrove Ave., Medford.      

None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed above. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  If any of the above charges have been acquitted, in order for removal from publication, one must email the writer and provide proof of dismissal.
