Crime Report: Criminal Mischief Charges, Menacing and Thrown Brick
A blotter of the latest arrests and incidents in Port Jefferson
Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct reported these incidental arrests in Port Jefferson and Port Jefferson Station during Dec. 12—18:
Michael Garfinkel, 26, of Huntington Station was arrested Dec. 16 in Port Jefferson and charged with criminal mischief. Reports state Garfinkel punched a car door and hit an unknown person.
Kimberly Dileo, 28, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested Dec. 15 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with grand larceny and second degree forgery. Reports state Dileo stole checks from her father.

Jose Reyes, 21, of Port Jefferson Village was arrested Dec. 14 in Port Jefferson and charged with second degree menacing. Reports state during a verbal dispute, Reyes pointed a gun at someone.
Warren Cooper, 21, of Port Jefferson was arrested Dec. 14 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with second degree menacing. Reports state Cooper threw a brick at someone. Reports also state no injuries were reported.

None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed above. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
