Crime Report: Drivers Charged with DWI and Passenger Marijuana Posession

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct reported these incidental arrests in Port Jefferson and Port Jefferson Station during June 15-20:

Dallas Cloutier, 30, of Bellport was arrested June 20 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with third degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.  Reports state Cloutier was traveling in a 1995 Jeep Cherokee on Route 347 west of Terryville Rd. in Port Jefferson Station when he was stopped and it was discovered he did not have a driver’s license.

Erin Hennessy, 23, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested June 19 in Brookhaven and charged with first offense DWI. Reports state Hennessy was operating a 2008 Chevy westbound at Route 347 and Wireless Rd. at approximately 4:40 a.m. when she was allegedly driving while intoxicated.

Manuel Torres, 22, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested June 18 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Torres allegedly possessed marijuana in the passenger side of a vehicle.    

Charles Kurkul, 26, of Coram was arrested June 18 in Port Jefferson and charged with first offense DWI.  Kurkul was operating a 2002 Ford Taurus on Terry St., and Oakland Avenue at approximately 12:13 a.m. when he was allegedly driving while intoxicated.

Brett Mccoy, 19, of Rocky Point was arrested June 17 in Port Jefferson and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. McCoy was operating his 2008 Chevrolet on Route 347 and Crystal Brook Hollow Rd. when he was pulled over. Reports state he allegedly possessed marijuana.
