Crime Report: Man Crashes While Allegedly Drunk Driving in Stolen Car

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

James Klein, 39, of Patchogue, was arrested at 12:53 a.m. on Sept. 22 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with DWI. Police say that Klein was driving a Chevy SUV south on Bayview Terrace and was involved in an accident at the intersection of West Broadway.

Jamey Aiello, 27, of Rocky Point, was arrested at 1:40 a.m. on Sept. 22 in Port Jefferson and charged with DWI. Aiello allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign at Oak Street while driving south on Barnum Avenue.

Hyoun Lee, 28, of Armonk, was arrested at 11:40 p.m. on Sept. 22 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with disorderly conduct. Police say that Lee was outside of a home on Keewaydin Court and allegedly refused to disperse when police told him to.

On Sept. 23 at about 1 a.m. someone on John Street in Port Jefferson Station reported to police about receiving threatening telephone calls from an unknown person.

Jocelyn Giordano, 32, of Holbrook, was arrested at 2:05 a.m. on Sept. 23 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with DWI. Police say that Giordano was discovered in her vehicle while it was running with the keys in the ignition and that when she was found she was passed out.

A man was hit in the face by another person on Main Street in Port Jefferson and taken to Stony brook Hospital on Sept. 23 at about 1 p.m.

Nicholas Bonpietro, 20, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested at 9:38 p.m. on Sept. 22 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Bonpietro was at the Speedy Mart on Route 112 allegedly using loud threatening and foul language directed at police.

Tracy James, 38, of Middle Island, was arrested on Sept. 24 at Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson and charged with robbery, burglary, forgery and criminal possession of stolen property. Police accused her of a June robbery in Bayshore when she allegedly stole property from another person. James was also charged with burglary for allegedly taking property from a home on Stony Brook Road in Stony Brook on June 18 and criminal possession of stolen property from an incident at Gold Rush USA in Centereach on the same date. She was also charged with a forgery and accused of altering a check that she then deposited into an ATM in Coram on Sept. 6. Court records show that James was indicted in Suffolk Country Criminal Court on Sept. 28 and her next court date is set for Oct. 3.

On Sept. 25, Jewelry was taken from a home on Crooked Oak Road in Belle Terre when someone broke in through a back door.

Jason Hannah, 36, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested at 2:50 a.m. Sept. 27 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with DWI. Police say that Hannah was speeding in a 2005 Nissan while driving west on Route 25A in Mt. Sinai. He was arrested on Route 347 and Crystal Brook Hallow Road.

Daniel Keller, 26, of Selden, was arrested at 9:09 p.m. on Sept. 27 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs and grand larceny. Police say that Keller was driving a 2011 Honda on Route 112 when he hit a 2011 Ford Focus near Bergen Avenue. Police found out that the car that Keller was driving was not his. Court records show that Keller was in Suffolk Country Criminal Court on Sept. 28. Bail was set at $10,000 but was not posted. He is due back in court on Oct. 3.

Two men were arrested on Sept. 28 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with criminal possession of stolen property. Alexander Gentile, 26, of Lake Ronkonkoma, and Michael Wisnieski, 25, of Port Jefferson Station, allegedly had stolen gardening and construction tools stashed at an apartment on Greenhaven Drive and in a car.

Brendon Ernst, 20, of Port Jefferson, was arrested at on Sept. 29 in Port Jefferson and charged with DWI. Police say that Ernst was driving a red Nissan Pathfinder south on Route 25A near East Main Street without his lights on. He was arrested on the corner of High Street and Tuttle Street at 4:10 a.m.

Jesse Imperial, 19, of Shoreham, was arrested at on Sept. 30 in Port Jefferson and charged with DWI. Police say that Imperial was driving a 2008 BMW east on North Country Road and was involved in a car crash in front of Mather Hospital at 2:15 a.m.
