Crime Report: Man Reportedly Stabbed at Route 112 Park and Ride

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Mary Morales, 32, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested on Dec. 12 in Selden and charged with criminal mischief, a felony. Police say that Morales allegedly smashed the rear window and rear taillights on a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a bat on Dec. 11 at about 11:45 p.m.

Samantha Ward, 23, of Rocky Point, was arrested on Dec. 16 at about 2 p.m. in Port Jefferson and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Ward was found at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital allegedly in possession of Zanyx that was not prescribed to her and hypodermic needles in her purse.

On Dec. 16 at about 7:30 p.m. someone threw a rock as a window breaking one pane of glass at a home on Joseph Drive in Port Jefferson Station.

An unidentified man went to the taxi stand on Main Street in Port Jefferson Station near the Long Island Railroad and asked someone there for a cigarette. After asking for another one, for an unknown reason the man then slashed the tires of a cab and threatened a person at the stand. The man left the scene. No arrests have been made.

A person reported that on Dec. 20 he was in Jefferson Plaza drinking when he was approached by a group of people he did not know. According to a police report, the man shared alcohol with them and then walked to the New York State Department Park and Ride on Route 112 where they got into a verbal dispute at about 11 p.m. and the man was slashed on his forearms with a knife. He was assisted to John T. Mather Memorial Hospital where he was treated. No arrests have been made at this time.

Anthony Notarnicola, 22, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on Dec. 20 at 12:20 p.m. and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Police stopped Notarnicola for a traffic violation while driving a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix and allegedly found heroin in his possession.

Thomas Krajewski, 23, of East Setauket, was arrested on Dec. 20 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Krajewski allegedly had Suboxone in his possession while sitting in the driver’s seat of a car on Rush Street.

On Dec. 21 at about 10 p.m. someone broke a window to an apartment on Piedmont Drive in Port Jefferson Station.

Christopher Bush, 48, homeless, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on Dec. 21 at about 12 p.m. and charged with harassment, a misdemeanor. Bush was on a bus on Route 112 when he allegedly threatened another passenger.
