Crime Report: Pair Hit With Felony Drug Charges

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Marc Lopez, 26, of Miller Place, and David Nunez, 25, of Port Jefferson, were arrested May 28 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor, and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony. Police said they were sitting in a car in a parking lot on Linden Place in Port Jefferson Station at 7 p.m. with marijuana and heroin in their possession. According to court records, they were both released on their own recognizance and are due back in court June 28. 

Jamel Worlds, 18, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested May 28 in Central Islip and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle,  a misdemeanor, and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony. Police said they found cocaine in his possession during a traffic stop on Suffolk Avenue at Wheeler Road in Central Islip at 11 p.m. 

Victor Demarco, 60, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested on May 31 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, circumventing an ignition interlock device, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, all misdemeanors. Police arrested him at 11:25 a.m. following a traffic stop on Route 83 near Route 112 in Coram, and said he was carrying a knife.

Robert Campbell, 45, of Port Jefferson, was arrested on May 30 in Selden and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Police said he had cocaine in his possession while parked in a lot on Boyle Road near Route 25 in Selden at 12:50 p.m.

Roy Langhamer, 63, was arrested on May 26 in Central Islip and charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI, both misdemeanors. Police said Langhamer was driving in a 2003 Porsche at 1:40 a.m. and failed to stay in his lane. He was arrested at 1:40 a.m.
