Crime Report: Police Make Multiple DWI Arrests
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Adam Hansen, 22, of Rocky Point, was arrested Dec. 28 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with first-offense DWI, a misdemeanor. Police stopped Hansen for allegedly missing a front license plate and having too-dark window tints while driving southbound on Route 25A in Port Jefferson Station. They said he was intoxicated and arrested him at approximately 3 a.m.
Kurt Stettner, 22, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested Dec. 29 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with first-offense DWI, a misdemeanor. Police stopped Stettner for allegedly speeding and failing to use a proper turning lane while driving southbound on Route 25A in Port Jefferson. They said he was intoxicated and arrested him at approximately 4:40 a.m.
Tom Katsaros, 43, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested Jan. 1 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor. Police said Katsaros punched a male victim in the face, sending him to the hospital, at approximately 4:20 p.m.

Anthony Killeen, 21, of Selden, was arrested Jan. 1 in Port Jefferson and charged with DWAI drugs/alcohol and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors. He was arrested at approximately 3:40 a.m.
Edward Swaboski, 71, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested Jan. 2 in Miller Place and charged with first-offense DWI, a misdemeanor. Police arrested Swaboski at 4:15 p.m. after he struck two other vehicles while driving on Echo Avenue at Miller Place Road.
