Crime Report: Port Jefferson Beverage Center Vandalized

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

On June 3 at about 4:20 a.m. someone called police from a gas station on Route 25A in Port Jefferson Station to say that a rock had been used to break the double glazed glass on the front door. None entered the store.

On June 3 at about 4:30 a.m. someone spray painted a vehicle parked on Kennedy Road in Port Jefferson Station.

Mario Gomez, 33, of Mount Sinai, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on June 3 at about 10 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. Gomez was allegedly yelling at passing motorists near the Long Island Railroad.

On June 3 someone threw paint on the rear alley door of on Nesconset Highway in Port Jefferson Station.

Jose Sanchezreyes, 23, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on June 4 and charged with DWI. Sanchezreyes is also charged with of leaving the scene of an accident with injuries involved. Police say that he crashed into a brick wall at 25A and Maple Avenue while driving a 1994 Nissan Sentra. He then allegedly fled the scene. The crash injured two passengers.

Dimitrios Kostas, 32, of Mount Sinai, was arrested in Mount Sinai on June 5 at about 11:10 p.m. and charged with menacing. Kostas allegedly threatened someone with a baseball bat.

Christina Garabedian, 20, Kwasaan Brito, 19, Jose Purcell, 22, all of Port Jefferson Station, and a seventeen-year old from Port Jefferson, were arrested in Port Jefferson on June 6 and charged with criminal trespassing. The four were all allegedly in an apartment on Linden Place without permission. Police also say that Garabedian and Purcell were both in possession of marijuana at the time of their arrest.

Michael Plantamura, 34, of Port Jefferson, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on June 7 and charged with petit larceny. Plantamura allegedly stole assorted items from the Walmart on Nesconset Highway in East Setauket.

Kenneth Neu, 47, of Mount Sinai, was arrested in Mount Sinai on June 7 at about 11:50 p.m. and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Neu was allegedly in possession of cocaine.

Someone called police on June 8 at about 10:15 p.m. after coming home to find a sliding glass door partially open and items taken from the master bedroom.

Someone reported to police on June 9 at about 5 a.m. that the front store window of on Railroad Avenue in Port Jefferson Station was damaged. 

Erin McKenna, 31, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested in Port Jefferson on June 9 and charged with DWI. McKenna was driving a 2012 Volkswagen that was involved an accident.

John Pazienza, 21, of Mount Sinai, was arrested in Setauket at Noon on June 9 and charged with petit larceny. Pazienza allegedly stole an LED light and a small gas burner.

On June 9 at about 8:30 p.m. the Port Jefferson Fire Department called police saying that someone tore down its sign on Route 25A that announced its 125th anniversary.

On June 9 at about 11 p.m., a parked security vehicle was dented in a parking lot on Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station.
