Crime Report: Port Jeff Station Burglar Takes Exercise Equipment

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Salvatore Mazzuchelli, 33, from Port Jefferson Station, was arrested on Nov. 23 and charged with third degree burglary with illegal entry and fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property with a value less than $1,000. He reportedly took a mountain bike and a press machine from Roma Granite Warehouse in Ronkonkoma.

Adriana Salamon, 23, from Port Jefferson Station, was arrested on Nov. 23 and charged with petty larceny, seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and leaving the scene of an accident without showing identification. Salamon was allegedly involved in a motor vehicle crash that resulted in physical injury and fled the scene. Police later found her driving a 2000 Honda in possession of illegal drugs. She was also charged for taking four tires and rims together with another individual on Nov 17 in Ronkonkoma.

David Kruty, 27, from Port Jefferson Station, was arrested on Nov. 19 and charged with fifth degree criminal possession of a substance: cocaine and first degree operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. At about 6:58 p.m. officers observed him in a 2003 Sonata in the Pine Cinemas parking lot and asked him to turn off the engine. Kruty then allegedly fled the scene.

Michael Wisnieski, 25, from Port Jefferson, was arrested on Nov. 19 and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was reportedly found in the parking lot of 2280 County Road 83 in Farmingville in a 2007 Ford truck with illegal prescription drugs.
