Crime Report: Stolen Copper and Heroin Bust in Port Jefferson Station

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On Nov. 21 at about 2:15 a.m., copper cable was stolen from the yard at Bright Side Electric on Baylis Avenue in Port Jefferson Station.

A PlayStation video game console and jewelry was stolen from a residence on Ciliotta Lane in Port Jefferson Station on Nov. 21. The owner came back to the home and found the lights on and draws moved. Police said that the burglar came in through a window.

Julie Lincoln, 34, of Coram, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on Nov. 24 and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Lincoln was at Americas Best Value Inn on Route 112 allegedly in possession of heroin. According to court records, Lincoln was in court on Nov. 24 and released on her own recognizance. She is due back in court on Dec. 18.
