Crime Report: Stolen Gloves and Jewelry, and Aggravated Harassment Charge
A blotter of the latest arrests and incidents in Port Jefferson
Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct reported these incidental arrests in Port Jefferson and Port Jefferson Station during Dec. 26—Jan. 2:
A seventeen year old female of Yaphank was arrested Dec. 30 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with petit larceny. Reports state the female stole gloves and a variety of jewelry from JC Penny's at the Smithaven Mall.
Chadwick Utt, 30, of Irvine was arrested Dec. 28 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with aggravated harassment. Reports state Utt harassed another party via cell phone.

None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed above. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. If any of the above charges have been acquitted, in order for removal from publication, one must write the writer and provide proof of dismissal.
