Crime Report: Port Jeff Station Man Punches House

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

William Sexton, 31, of Miller Place, was arrested Dec. 30 at about 12:23 a.m. and charged with first offense DWI. He was on Oakland Avenue in Port Jefferson operating a 2006 GMC when he reportedly failed to maintain lane of travel, attracting the attention of the police.

A 17-year old minor, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested Dec. 30 and charged with second degree menacing. He allegedly displayed a rifle during an argument on Parnet Court.

Ian Gearty, 21, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested Dec. 30 at about 11:05 p.m. and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. He was found near John Street sitting in a 1999 Chevy Lumina.

Justin Wachter, 18, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested Jan. 1 at about 12:45 a.m. and charged with criminal mischief. He reportedly punched the glass of a storm door and a bedroom glass window from a house on Paul Street.

Jhonatan Guzman, 30, of Terryville, was arrested Jan. 1 at about 3:11 p.m. and charged with second degree harassment. He was on Hewes Street when he allegedly pushed a police officer.

Silas Salgado, 19, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested Jan. 1 at about 6:46 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief with intent to damage property. He was on Addison Place in Medford when he allegedly used a pellet gun to shoot the glass out from the door of a residence.

John Rodd, 50, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested Jan. 3 at about 12:00 p.m. and charged with first offense DWI. He was travelling on County Road 83 in Coram driving a 2012 Jeep Wrangler when he was reportedly involved in a motor vehicle accident with another car.
