Crimes Nearby: Man Charged with Harrassment in St. James

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department or village police and does not indicate a conviction.

Smithtown

Jonathon Knapp, 54, of St. James, was arrested Nov. 17 in St. James and charged with second degree harrassment. Reports indicate Knapp allegedly grabbed a female victim by the neck, slapped her across the face and pushed her up against a wall.

Anthony Lucente, 22, of Smithtown, was arrested Nov. 16 in Smithtown and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest. Lucente is accused of possessing prescription pills and a hypodermic needle, and of fleeing from police through a yard and a wooded area.

Andre Machate, 41, of St. James, was arrested Nov. 16 in Smithtown and charged with fourth degree grand larceny and petit larceny. Machate allegedly stole a 2001 Honda motorcycle from Ace Auto Wreckers on Long Island Avenue in Deer Park. He is also accused of stealing cash from a male victim on Lake Avenue in St. James.

Miller Place-Rocky Point

Marc Feingold, 49, from Miller Place, was arrested on Nov. 13 at Higbie Lane in West Islip and charged with second degree obstruction of governmental administration. He reportedly interfered with a police investigation while another party was being handcuffed.

Nicholas Provenzano, 24, from Rocky Point, was arrested on Nov. 12 at 7:35 a.m. at in Rocky Point and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was allegedly spotted in a 2008 Volkswagen with Xanax.

Charles Killain, from Rocky Point, was arrested on Nov. 17 at about 7 p.m. at 346 Route 25A in Rocky Point and charged with disorderly conduct. He was allegedly screaming and cursing at people and resisted arrest.

Three Village

William Stover, 56, of East Setauket, was arrested on Nov. 12 at 9:15 p.m. and charged with first degree operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. He was reportedly pulled over in a 1994 Ford near 1975 Route 347 in Saint James.

Kimberly Bailey, 24, of South Setauket, was arrested on Nov. 15 and charged with petty larceny. She allegedly took 19 items of assorted merchandise from Walmart in South Setauket.

Riverhead

Juan Matias, 29, of Riverhead was arrested Nov. 17 at 10:59 a.m. at the corner of County Road 39 and Tuckahoe Road in Southampton and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. After receiving a call about an erratic driver running other cars off the road, police identified Matias and pulled him over, according to police reports. Police said he appeared intoxicated.

Nicolas Santamaria, 46, of Riverhead was arrested Nov. 19 at 7:22 p.m. on Montauk Highway in East Quogue and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police received a call about an erratic driver on Montauk Highway, pulled Santamaria over and then saw that he was intoxicated, according to police reports.

Jaime Aparicio, 26, of Flanders was arrested Nov. 19 at 12:43 a.m. at Cabana Latina in Flanders and charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony. Police were called to an incident at Cabana Latina about a man who had punched in two windows at the restaurant, according to police reports.

Thomas Johnston, 24, of Riverhead was arrested and charged with second-degree harassment after an incident at the Oakland Ridge mobile home park in Riverhead on Nov. 14 at about 2 a.m. Police did not release any additional details about the incident.
