DEA Raids Port Jeff Station Doctor's Office

Third in a part of a larger Investigation throughout Long Island this year.

The offices of Dr. Frank Telang, a Port Jefferson Station Neurologist, were raided by Federal Agents on Wednesday night, according to a report in Newsday.

The story quoted DEA spokeswoman Erin Mulvey as saying the office records were "seized as part of an ongoing investigation into physicians who may have illegally diverted drugs" though she did stress that "Telang had not been arrested or charged with a crime."
