Homeless Man Allegedly Assaults 7-Eleven Cashier in Port Jefferson Station

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Glenn Johnson, 30, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on July 23 at 11:37 a.m. and charged with assault. Police say that Johnson, who is homeless, went into the on Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station and took a bottle of water from the refrigerator. He then allegedly punched the cashier in the store in the left eye without provocation. The cashier was taken to for treatment.

Jose Garcia, 29, of Medford, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on July 24 at 9:37 p.m. and charged with DWI. Police say that Garcia was involved in an accident with a parked car on Norwood Avenue.

Kenneth McKay, 49, of Patchogue, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on July 25 at 1:35 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. McKay was allegedly drinking an open container of vodka and using profane language in front of pedestrians, annoying and alarming people on Route 112.

Louis Perfetto, 76, of Miller Place, was arrested in Mount Sinai on July 24 at 5:29 p.m. and charged with menacing with a weapon. Police say that Perfetto was involved in a road rage incident on Route 347. During an argument where both parties accused each other of cutting each other off, at some point, Perfetto allegedly had a gun.

Jessica Sosa, 32, of Coram, was arrested in Port Jefferson on July 26 at 4:26 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. Police say that they stopped Sosa because she was on a cell phone and driving the wrong way in the Long Island Railroad overflow parking lot near Main Street.

Rory Whitworth, 23, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on July 26 at 8:30 p.m. and charged with petit larceny. Police say that Whitworth took a lawnmower off of someone else’s property on Mill Street.

On July 26 at about 11 p.m. someone on Vineyard in Mount Sinai called police to complain that someone had knocked down a fence.

On July 27 at about 8:20 p.m. someone reported that someone smashed a cab window while on Main Street in Port Jefferson.

Crystal Biganini, 24, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on July 27 at 10:47 p.m. and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Police observed Biganini allegedly taking marijuana out of a plastic bag while she was at a traffic light on Route 347 and Jayne Blvd in Port Jefferson Station.

Robert Dimone, 23, of Centereach, was arrested in Port Jefferson on July 27 at 11:20 p.m. and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Dimone was in a car on Mariner’s Way with Gismondi (below) when police approached them.

Victoria Gismondi, 21, of Centereach, was arrested in Port Jefferson on July 27 at 11:20 p.m. and charged with loitering for the purpose of unlawfully use of a controlled substance. Police say they approached a car that Gismondi was in with Dimone (above) while parked on Mariner’s Way.

Nikkos Hanley, 21, of Rockville Center, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on July 28 at 12:07 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. Police say that Hanley did not maintaining his lane while making a right turn from Hallock Lane onto Route 112.

John Cullen, 26, of Selden, was arrested on Route 25A and Linden Place in Port Jefferson Station on July 28 at 2:30 a.m. and charged with DWI.

On July 28 at about 2:30 a.m. someone called police to complain that a car on East Main Street in Port Jefferson had been damaged.

Michael Hoelzer, 27, of Mount Sinai, was arrested in Port Jefferson on July 28 at 2:59 a.m. and charged with DWI. Police say that Hoelzer failed to stop at a stop sign on Barnum Avenue.

Daria Okrasinski, 30, of Wading River, was arrested in Mount Sinai on July 28 at 5 p.m. and charged with aggravated DWI, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. Police say that Okrasinski was involved in a collision on Route 25A in Mount Sinai.

On July 28 at about 11:30 p.m. someone in Port Jefferson called police to complain that someone had damaged a vehicle on East Broadway in the Fifth Season parking lot.

On July 29 someone called police at about 12:30 a.m. to report that someone had vandalized a fence on Casey Lane in Mount Sinai.

Brian McGlone, 24, of Rocky Point, was arrested on Main Street and Linden Place in Port Jefferson Station on July 29 at 10:50 p.m. and charged with DWI.
