Incident Report: Cars Vandalized on Residential Streets

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department.

The Suffolk County Police Department reported the following instances of fourth-degree criminal mischief between March 3 and March 7:

  • A resident of Leeward Lane in Port Jefferson reported March 3 that someone broke a window of a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta parked at the residence at 6:20 p.m.
  • A resident of Kennedy Road in Port Jefferson Station reported March 6 that four vehicles that were legally parked in the street all had side view mirrors broken sometime between 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.
  • A resident of Linda Street in Port Jefferson Station reported March 7 that someone damaged the driver's side mirror and rear tail light of a 2001 Chrysler Town & Country parked at the residence at approximately noon.
