Incident Report: Criminal Mischief at Maroon & More

The Suffolk County Police Department reported the following incidents between Feb. 15 and Feb. 20.

Police responded to an incident at Maroon restaurant in Port Jefferson Station in which a window was broken and the alarm was activated, though nothing was missing. The incident, which took place at 6:30 a.m. on Feb. 17, is being considered an instance of fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Police responded to an incident at Chase Bank on Nesconset Highway in Mt. Sinai in which threats to an employee were received by telephone. The incident, which took place Feb. 20 at 2 p.m., is being considered an instance of aggravated harassment.

Police responded to an incident at a residence on Chestnut Avenue in Mt. Sinai in which two people got into a physical altercation at 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 15. The incident is being considered an instance of second-degree harassment; no arrests were made.

Police are investigating an instance of fourth-degree grand larceny at JP Morgan Chase on North Country Road in Port Jefferson. The incident took place Dec. 23 and was reported Feb. 22; no other information was available.
