On June 4, a resident of Midland Avenue in Port Jefferson reported that someone damaged a rear window to enter the house and stole jewelry and money between 5:15 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. On June 5, a resident of Old Post Road in Port Jefferson reported that someone entered the house through a rear door and stole jewelry between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.

Additionally, on June 6, a resident of Dogwood Road in Port Jefferson reported that a screen on a back window was torn sometime between 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., though it is unclear if it was an attempted burglary. The incident is being considered a case of fourth-degree criminal mischief.
