Pair Steals $900 Worth of Sporting Goods From Terryville Store

Unknown man and woman used fake Visa gift cards to buy merchandise from Port Jeff Sporting Goods.

On Monday, Aug. 29, a man and a woman used fake Visa gift cards to purchase $900 worth of sporting goods from Port Jeff Sporting Goods store at 1395 Route 112 in Terryville, according to the Suffolk County Police Department. The pair paid for their merchandise and drove away in what is described as a white or silver Toyota Forerunner.

The man is described as white with an unidentifiable accent and the woman is white or Hispanic. They were caught on the store’s surveillance video while shopping and checking out.

The two thieves are wanted by the police for petit larceny.
