A street sweeper became stuck on the steep incline of Bayview Terrace in Port Jefferson Village on Wednesday morning, prompting area police to help free the commercial vehicle.

The incident at the intersection of Route 25A slowed traffic slightly in the area.

Police on the scene said they were still trying to figure out how to get the street sweeper free.
