Police: Man Found Passed Out on Drugs in Car at Port Jeff Station Intersection

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

-A  50-year-old Port Jefferson Station man was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on Sept. 27 and charged with driving while impaired by drugs.

According to police, the man was driving a 2001 Chrysler and was found passed out in the car with the engine running at the intersection of Rt. 347 and Rt. 112. The incident happened around noon. He was charged with first-degree driving while impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor.

-Police slapped a  49-year-old Rocky Point man with several charges of petty larceny, including stealing money from the tip jar from a Dunkin' Donuts in Farmingville.

Police said the man also stole a cordless drill from a Lowes in Medord on Sept. 19, that same day he stole from the tip jar and stole Brighton earrings from Just for You Jewelry store in Farmingville on Aug. 23.

Police charged him with three counts of petty larceny.

-Police said a Port Jefferson Station man was drunk when he collided with another car in Port Jefferson Station.

According to police, Pablo Fernandez was driving a 2007 Toyota 4-Runner on Sept. 22 when he crashed into another car at the intersection of Terryville Road and Half Mile Road. Police charged Fernandez with first-degree driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
