Police Seek Suspects in Recent Gas Station Robbery

Detectives at Suffolk County Sixth Precinct are looking for three men in connection to a robbery at an area gas station.

Suffolk Police are asking for help from the public to identify suspects wanted in the robbery of USA Gas on Main Street in Port Jefferson. Three men robbed the gas station of about $350 at gunpoint on Dec. 19. During the crime, one of the men brandished a silver revolver while the other two opened the cash register.

The three men are described as being Hispanic all with thin builds between the ages of 20 and 25 years old. Two of the suspects are about 5'4" to 5'5" tall and the other is about 5'6" to 5'7" tall. One was wearing a brown jacket with a light colored hood, another had on a blue jacket with the number 22 on left chest and a hat and the third wore a blue jacket with white stripes on shoulders.

Suffolk County Police offers a cash reward of up to $5000 for information that leads to an arrest through their Crime Stoppers program. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.  All calls will be kept confidential.
