Crime Report: Man Allegedly Shoplifted, Assaulted Security Guard at Bravo in Port Jeff Station

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Sean McMahon, 42, of Medford, was arrested on Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station on July 10 and charged with petit larceny and disorderly conduct. Police said that McMahon was spotted by a security guard allegedly taking items from the without paying for them at about 4 p.m. When the guard from Arrow Security approached him about the shoplifting incident, McMahon allegedly pushed him. Police report that an hour later, McMahon was in where he used obscene language. He was arrested at 5 p.m. at Mather.

Sabrine Labidi, 20, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested July 12 and charged with first-offense DWI. Labidi was traveling westbound on 25A and Mt. Sinai Ave where she was stopped for failing to maintain her lane and was found to be intoxicated, according to police.

Daniel Harris, 25, of Miller Place, was arrested on Route 25A in Mount Sinai on July 12 and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. Police say that Harris was pulled over while driving a 2003 Nissan at 2:13 a.m. for a broken tail light.

On July 13, while parked in Trader’s Cove parking lot off of Arden Place in Port Jefferson, someone reported to police that the rear passenger side tire of her car was slashed.

On July 13, someone reported to police that he was robbed at about 6:40 p.m. at Port Jefferson Plaza on Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station. While riding a bicycle in the back of the shopping center, the person was approached by two unknown men who displayed a handgun and took his wallet.

Christopher Sharkey, 28, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested on Commodore Circle in Port Jefferson Station on July 13 at 6:43 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. Police report that Sharkey hit a tree while driving a 1994 Ford.

On July 13 at 10 a.m., someone called police to report that jewelry, iPads and a camera were taken from a home on Jeanne Avenue in Port Jefferson Station.

Someone reported to police that a silver Toyata Camary had its rear windshield smashed while parked on Myrtle Avenue in Port Jefferson on July 14.

John Farina, 27, of Jamaica, was arrested on East Main Street in Port Jefferson on July 15 and charged with disorderly conduct. Farina was in a parking lot on East Main Street when he threw a paper plate in the middle of the street. When Farina was told to pick it up, he allegedly used obscene language while he was doing it.

Edmund Blazer, 34, of New York, was arrested on Linden Place in Port Jefferson on July 15 and charged with driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Police say that Blazer was seen exiting a 1997 Cadillac from behind the steering wheel.

Steven Guiffre, 48, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested July 16 in Mt. Sinai and charged with pettit larceny. Guiffre allegedly stole a Rug Doctor carpet cleaner from Kohl’s in Rocky Point on June 24.

Randolph Joseph, 26, of Rocky Point, was arrested July 16 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with second degree robbery. Joseph allegedly attempted to rob an individual on Main Street, Port Jefferson Station at approximately 5 a.m. by punching and kicking the victim on his face, head and body.

Shajee Jackson, 19, of Port Jefferson, was arrested on Main Street in Port Jefferson Station on July 16 and charged with robbery. Jackson allegedly kicked and punched another person looking to rob money from him. Police say he was aided by another person.

On July 19, someone at G&B Collision in Port Jefferson Station reported the theft of equipment from the business.

Keith Lopez, 27, of Selden, was arrested July 19 in Mt. Sinai and charged with first-offense DWI. Police said that around 2:30 a.m. Lopez was observed failing to maintain his lane of travel several times as he was traveling southbound in a 1997 Ford on CR 83 in Mount Sinai. Upon being stopped, he was found to be intoxicated.

Michael Passanesi, 21, of Coram, was arrested at 11:19 p.m. on July 19 in Mt. Sinai and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. Police initially pulled over Passanesi for speeding while he was driving on Route 25A in a 2010 Mazda.

A 19-year old suffered facial injuries and was taken to Mather Hospital at 3 a.m. on July 20. He reported to police that he was punched by an unknown person for no reason.

Daniel Goggin, 21, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested July 21 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with first-offense DWI. Police pulled over Goggin when he was driving a 1998 Lexus on Route 112 and failed to maintain his lane. Goggin was observed by police striking a curb and bouncing back onto the road.

While at at in Port Jefferson on July 21 at about 3:12 a.m. a man had a dispute with unknown male who then punched him in the face and fled.

Ryan Delapine, 22, of Shoreham, was arrested at 3:13 a.m. on July 21 in Port Jefferson and charged with first-offense DWI. Police pulled over Delapine after he failed to stop at a stop sign on East Main Street.
