A car accident on Route 347 resulted in serious traffic delays all along the highway heading west for about a mile and a half from Route 112 to Old Town Road where the crash occured on Monday afternoon but police have reported that there were no serious injuries in the two vehicle wreck.
According to police a call came in at about 12:05 p.m. At the scene a white sedan with a damaged front end and a Long Island Gutters work van with damage to the passenger side door were pulled into the center median.
There is no word of how many people were involved in the accident or where they were taken.
