Port Jeff Station Fire Sends Two Firefighters to Hospital

Fire in a boarded up home is under investigation by fire marshals.

Two firemen were sent to on Sunday after battling a suspicious blaze at a boarded up Port Jefferson Station home on Parnet Court, according to various sources.

ABC news reported on an eyewitness who saw "three people running from the home."

Arson investigators from Suffolk County Police Department and the Brookhaven Town fire marshal are looking into the fire.

According to a Newsday story, the two firefighters who were taken to the hospital were for exhaustion and were released.
