Suffolk police responded to an incident on Jan. 9 in which a man was sent to the hospital with a knife wound.
According to a police report, a verbal argument at a residence on Greenhaven Drive in Port Jefferson Station escalated to the point where one man assaulted another with a knife. The victim was taken to Mather Hospital the following day.
