Digitizing History: Port Jefferson Village Historian Kenneth Brady

Part 1 of a video featuring Kenneth Brady, who is meticulously assembling a digital archive of Port Jefferson through old photos.

We sat down with the official Port Jefferson Village Historian Kenneth Brady to talk about the process of archiving photographs of Port Jefferson to be shown in exhibits at the Village Center and eventually be available online for everyone to see and use. Brady has already scanned over 17,500 photos into the database, all tagged and numbered for convenient searching. In part 1 of a series of videos, Brady talks about the archival process from scanning to printing.
