Update: Belle Terre Polling Place Reopened for Voting by Elections Board

Voters who normally vote at Belle Terre Village Hall will vote there on Tuesday.

After a back and forth brought on by Superstorm Sandy and the damage it wrought in the village of Belle Terre the Suffolk County Board of Elections has now reopened Belle Terre Village Hall as a polling place for Tuesday's elections.

Voters in districts 5, 117 and 212 who vote at Belle Terre Village Hall should report to there as usual to cast their votes on Election Day, the BOE said.

On Saturday afternoon the BOE had made arrangements to move nine Suffolk polling places in communities including Oak Beach, Deer Park, Ocean Bay Park, Northport, Ocean Beach, Belle Terre, Hauppauge and Kings Park.
