Englebright Wins Fourth Assembly District Race

Incumbent Englebright beats challenger McKee with 63 percent of the vote.

New York State Assemb. Steve Englebright, D-Setauket, beat Republican challenger Deborah McKee in the Fourth Assembly District race. Englebright has a 26,402 to 15,739 lead over McKee with all districts reporting, 63 percent of the vote.

In 2010, Englebright held his seat against McKee's challenge as well.

New York's 4th Assembly District covers several communities in the Town of Brookhaven, including Stony Brook, Setauket, Sast Setauket, South Setauket, Port Jefferson, Port Jefferson Station, Old Field, Poquott and Mount Sinai, though the district office is in East Setauket.
