How about that 1% paying 50% of the taxes. How about the 50% that don't pay taxes, yeah that's fair. Let's see America the land of opportunity but if you do well, your a pig and you shouldn't do well...ridiculous

Right now I know personally too many people who are not working. So, I can understand the anger out there with the economy. Now, here is the problem that these groups are not addressing. Many of these people, and I can attest to them, don't want to work anymore. They are happy collecting their unemployment checks and they are not even looking for a job. This cannot be tolerated since the working people cannot afford to pay for all these people. These moving on groups etc should not get any sympathy until they hold accountable those that are standing in their groups who are not even trying to get a job!

Such anger, such animousity. Sounds like some of you have never had the misfortune of losing a job. Well, good for you. I personally am self-employed and struggling but I know people who are dedicatedly hunting for work and will accept just about anything to get a paycheck but it just doesn't happen. It seems to me that the longer you are out of work and if you're older than 30 something, it really gets much more difficult. So protesting is acceptable; get used to it before it turns into a revolution which might be devastating to everyone on a much larger scale.

So you don't see a problem with the fact you need to work three jobs to support your family? That's what the occupy movement is all about. It's about the growing gap in the middle class. Half the people here tell them to "Get a job". Maybe they have jobs and don't work on Saturdays. At least they're trying to make a change instead of having an attitude of indifference and allowing things to go on this way.
