Longer Parking Meter Hours Among Village Board Agenda Items

Village trustees are meeting Monday at 7 p.m.

The Port Jefferson Village Board has released the agenda for its Monday meeting at 7 p.m. at Village Hall.

Among discussion items, open for public discussion will be an item to extend parking meter hours until midnight. Last year, they ended at 10 p.m. from March 15 through the end of November. Parking costs 50 cents per hour.

Also on the agenda is to approve expenses at the Port Jefferson Country Club including 2.5 percent raises for a handful of re-hires, as well as $13,500 for soil bins and another $1,800 for backfilling a driveway.
