Mayor: Village Fared Well, Still No Power
An update on the state of the village from Port Jefferson Mayor Margot Garant.
Even though the village weathered the storm well, Mayor Margot Garant said that there are still many lingering problems after Hurricane Sandy including downed power lines and trees. Power is still out in the village and businesses remain closed as does the school.
