On the Agenda: Roe House, Outdoor Seating at Graceful Rose

Date for Roe House opening set, outdoor dining permit to be discussed.

A public hearing for a special use permit for outdoor dining at Graceful Rose restaurant will kick off Monday's Village Board meeting at Village Hall beginning at 7 p.m.

After the hearing, the business meeting will begin. On the agenda is the opening of the Drowned Meadow/Roe House for walk-in and appointment visits every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. starting on July 6 and ending on Aug. 31. The Village will also hire local resident Janet DiGuardi to serve as docent at the historic spot.

The board will also make a decision on the request of residents on High Street to hold a block party on July 6 from Noon to 9:00 pm. Included in the provisions are barricades to block the street and others in accordance with Village ordinances.
