Storm Closings in the Port Jefferson Area

Below is a list of known closings and cancellations due to Hurricane Sandy:

• Comsewogue School District - Closed Monday and Tuesday.
• Port Jefferson School District - Closed Monday and Tuesday.
• Mt. Sinai School District - Closed Monday and Tuesday.
• Comsewogue Library - Closed on Monday.
• Port Jefferson Library - Closed Monday and Tuesday.
• Bridgeport-Port Jefferson Ferry - Service suspended Monday and Tuesday.
• Long Island Rail Road - Service suspended as of 7 p.m. Sunday until further notice.
• Stony Brook University -  Monday classes cancelled.
