Local Pols Stumping at 'Meet the Candidates Night'

Community members of Port Jefferson Station-Terryville areas are invited to attend a Meet the Candidates night next Wed. from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Comsewoque Public Library.

This is the first in a series being held by the Port Jefferson Station- Terryville Civic Association.  The night will feature candidates for the Brookhaven Town Supervisor and Town Highway Supervisor's races.

Residents should come to the meeting to listen to the candidates and ask questions.

The association will host their next Meet the Candidates night Oct. 23 also from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Comsweoque public library featuring candidates for the Suffolk County Legislator and Brookhaven Town Councilperson races.

Have an opinion you want to share on the races? The Soapbox - Brookhaven  Gov't hopes to be the place where locals can debate these kids of issues in town.
