Upper Port Plan on Monday Night's Agenda

Also on tap for discussion is renovation of Rocketship Park.

The Port Jefferson Board of Trustees has released its agenda for Monday night's meeting, set for 6:30 p.m. at Village Hall.

Topping the discussion items at Monday's meeting is a discussion planned with Michael Schwarting, who will be giving the board an update on an Upper Port Revitalization Plan.

Almost exactly a year ago, Schwarting spoke in front of the Village Board and Planning Board, offering a rough plan to revitalizing the area.

Also on the agenda is a discussion item Chris Dyer regarding renovation of Rocketship Park, located just behind Village Hall. Board members to pay for new fences at the once iconic park, previously known for the large rocketship-shaped playset located there.
