Brookahven Town is accepting requests for proposals to relinquish control of the management of the and the village is interested in the job, according to a report in the Port Times Record.
"According to Brian Beedenbender, Brookhaven Town Supervisor Mark Lesko's chief of staff, interested parties have several options when filing the RFP," the paper reported. "A company or municipality can propose to either manage staffing, which Beedenbender said would make it responsible for the day-to-day operations, security and dock workers; or it could submit to take over the entire marina, which would include those responsibilities as well as boat slip management."
