Village Needs Pet Photos for Upcoming 'Pets of Port' Show
Exhibit will be on display in the Village Center in September and October.
Calling all pet lovers: Port Jefferson's Recreation Department and the Conservancy are seeking photos of your dog, cat or other pet for an upcoming exhibit at the Port Jefferson Village Center.
According to a village announcement, each participant may submit up to 20 photos for consideration. Photos must be digital format with the must conform to the following standards:
• Large file format, because the images will be enlarged for the exhibit.
• Photos must be in JPG, TIFF or PSD format.
• Please include a detailed caption in the "file information" or attach a separate description in a Word document.- Deliver or send to the Recreation Office at 101A East Broadway, Port Jefferson, 11777 by Aug. 9.
• Clearly mark each CD or DVD with your name, address, email address and phone number.
A reception for the show is planned for Sept. 22 at Mayor Jeanne Garant Harborfront Park.
